Contract stipulated between the Venetian Monastery of the Madonna dell'Orto and Jacopo Robusti, also known as «Tintoretto» with whom they agreed on the figures to be painted on the little doors of an organ (portelle), the «Presentazione», the painter’s fee and the time limit within which the works had to be done. Original handwriting by D. Daniele, the legal representative of the monastery, with the autograph signatures by Tintoretto next to the amounts of the partial payments he received, until the settlement on 14th May 1556.
